Newquay with its superb beaches, surf culture, friendly family atmosphere and exciting night life has enough to keep you occupied for several days. However, many visitors miss attractions which lie on Newquay’s doorstep. These are within easy reach without even starting the car.
Take a cycle trip on the St. Piran trail Newquay and its beautiful surrounding countryside unfolds as you cycle the route from the picturesque villages, patchwork countryside, ancient buildings and attractive gardens to the exciting lively hustle and bustle of the town there are so many hidden treasures to discover.
Why not travel south from Newquay along the peaceful rural lanes to visit the spectacular National Trust property, Trerice Manor. Hiding in the countryside, the elaborate Elizabethan manor with its beautiful gardens and unusual lawnmower museum are just waiting to be explored. Deeper into the countryside lies the welcoming village of St. Newlyn East. Relax, take it easy and experience Cornish village life over a pint of local ale.
