One of the largest VW, Custom Car and music events of its kind which is held at Trevelgue Holiday Park in Newquay. World-class DJ’s, live bands, side comedians and the VW’s and Custom Cars.
Run to the Sun was created from a natural affinity between the car and beach culture, the surfer’s love of the VW Beetle. The customised VW was the preferred choice of transport.
The first festival took place in 1987 with seventy cars. It has now grown to become one of Europe’s largest custom car shows in Europe.
Thousands of car enthusiasts from travel to Newquay during the Whit Bank Holiday to take part in the annual Festival. Between 80-100 000 visitors come to Newquay to attend the Festival the concerts, car shows and events around the Festival.
