Newquay Lifeboat Day

Annual Lifeboat Day Demonstration of a rescue. The new Atlantic 85 lifeboat, B-821 Gladys Mildred, was placed on service in October 2007. There is always a good crowd gathered to watch when the lifeboat is called out or when it is a training day. Lifeboat days are held throughout Cornwall with demonstrations and often with other lifeboats in attendance as well as a SAR helicopter.
