The basking shark is the second-largest living fish, and is a plankton-eating shark. besides the whale shark and megamouth shark. It is found in all the world’s temperate oceans. A slow-moving creature that catches plankton as the sea water is passed through through the mouth and over the gills. Basking sharks are normally greyish brown, with a mottled skin.
